We live in a world filled with people who don’t like having their fundamental beliefs questioned. If you are arguing with someone about something, chances are that no matter how persuasive or well-versed you are on the subject, you might not change someone’s mind on whatever it is that you’re debating. Understand that everyone has the right, and the reason to disagree with you on anything and everything, no matter how right you think you are. Imagine how much less animosity, and how much more acquisition of knowledge, would stem from discussions if people acknowledge this.
